Royal Lahaina Resort

Ocean & Pool Safety

At Royal Lahaina Resort your safety is our number one priority, with this in mind we have put together this resource of important tips and reminders about ocean and pool safety when visiting the resort and exploring Maui's beaches.

Pool Safety
The Royal Lahaina Resort does not have lifeguards on duty and we require that children under the age of 16 be with a parent or guardian when swimming in our pools. View our pool & ocean safety card for more information about our pool rules and regulations.

Ocean Safety
The ocean and beaches of Maui are inviting and a big draw for many visitors but for your own safety it is important that you follow posted signs and warnings when swimming at Kaanapali Beach, and other public beaches throughout the island. The ocean fronting the resort is relatively calm; however there are no lifeguards on duty. There are several public beaches on Maui that do post lifeguards between the hours of 8am - 4:30pm. Find out more by visiting Maui County's website, and view their ocean safety tips here. View our pool & ocean safety card for more information about our ocean safety tips.
