August 2011: Spin Doctors Concert
On August 20, 2011 the Royal Lahaina Resort rocked out to the sounds of popular band, Spin Doctors. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of their acclaimed album "Pocket Full of Kryptonite", the Spin Doctors played their popular hits "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" and "Two Princes" as well performed new material.

July 2011: Mai Tai Mix-Off and Pool Party
On July 6, 2011 the Royal Lahaina Resort hosted a Mai Tai Mix-Off and Pool Party to find the island's best bartenders to send to compete at our Royal Kona Resort's Third Annual Don the Beachcomber Mai Tai Festival. Ten of Maui's bartenders competed in timed rounds to show off their skills and drink creations. The top three winners are heading to Kona to compete for the $10,000 cash prize and title of the World's Best Mai Tai.

July 2011: Savor the Sunset
On July 14, 2011 the Rotary Club hosted its second annual "Savor the Sunset" fundraiser benefitting the Lahaina Public Library. Held on the Resort's oceanfront lawn featuring live music, pupus and wine tasting this successful annual event helps fund the library's extensive remodeling project.

May 2011: Toad the Wet Sprocket Concert
Toad the Wet Sprocket performed their mellow, melodic folk-pop songs from the early 90's live on May 7, 2011 with the Eric Gilliom Band opening for them. Although the event was moved indoors due to rain, guests enjoyed the show immensely.

April 2011: Five for Fighting Concert
John Ondrasik of Five for Fighting performed this intimate concert under the stars on April 23, 2011 at the Royal Lahaina Resort's Oceanfront Luau Gardens. Opening performance by Barry Flanagan.

March 2011: Barefoot Bar Grand Re-Opening
Celebrating the Grand Re-opening of the Barefoot Bar with a blessing ceremony this past March, the newly renovated oceanfront Barefoot Bar is home to live local music 3-4 days a week during sunset happy hours. The refurbishment includes updated beachfront grounds, refurbished shuffleboard and bocce ball courts, and a new outdoor bar seating area.

July 2010: Savor the Sunset Wine Tasting, Pupus & Live Music
This successful fundraiser event for the Lahaina Library was held on July 8, 2010 on the Resort's Oceanfront Lawn and featured wine tasting, pupus and live music.

July 2010: Mai Tai Mix-Off
Ten individuals faced off at the Royal Lahaina Resort in a Mai Tai mix-off qualifier in early July to earn the right to compete in the Second Annual Don the Beachcomber Mai Tai Festival held at the resort's sister hotel, the Royal Kona Resort. Three local bartenders won and the evening was capped off with a Bacardi Torched Cherry Launch pool party.

April 2010: Taj Mahal with Hula Blues Band Concert
Taj Mahal & the Hula Blues band took the stage for an ocean side concert at the Royal Lahaina Resort on April 17, 2010. Sitting in with Taj and the band was Slack Key guitar and ukulele virtuoso Ledward Kaapana.

February 2010: Third Eye Blind Concert
Held on the Oceanfront Lawn at the Royal Lahaina Resort this up-close and intimate concert featured opening act Lahaina local band, Barefoot Minded, and an acoustic concert with popular American alternative rock band, Third Eye Blind on February 27, 2010.
